Three ways to work with Monument Labs
Every engagement runs the same way: you get a live URL of the real product as it's being built, you record yourself walking through it, and changes ship in 24–48 hours. The tier just sets the scope. Read the methodology →
Pilot
For founders validating an idea, or small orgs scoping a first project before committing to anything bigger.
- One landing page + one core feature, or a working prototype.
- Live URL on day one, updated continuously as the build progresses.
- Deployed and shipped at the end of week two. No shelfware.
MVP
For founders shipping a real product to real users. Past validation, not yet at traction.
- Auth, the core flows your users actually need, billing if it matters.
- Real users on it, with the build deployed, stable, and monitored.
- Ongoing updates through launch. No hand-off-and-disappear.
- Same live-URL feedback loop as a Pilot, on a longer arc.
Studio
Ongoing partnership through traction. For founders who've validated demand and want someone embedded while they push for it.
- Everything in MVP.
- Ad funnel built and instrumented (Google Ads, landing pages, conversion tracking).
- Analytics setup so you can answer real questions about where users drop off.
- Retainer-style continued work. Iteration after launch, with the same feedback loop.
How the work actually runs
Most agencies sequester the build behind a discovery phase and a polished demo. Monument Labs places the real product in your hands on day one. Direct experience with it drives what ships next, in place of abstract requirements gathering.
You get a live URL on day one
From day one, the actual product is deployed and clickable on the same hosting your users will eventually use. The same product they will see, on the same infrastructure, accessible from any device. Anyone you bring into the loop can check the build at any moment without scheduling a demo or requesting an update.
You record an open walkthrough
When time allows, you open a screen recorder, navigate the live product, and narrate what you notice as you go. Friction points, confusion, moments of surprise: captured in context, in your own words. There is no structured feedback form to complete and no review meeting on the calendar.
Changes ship in 24–48 hours
Each walkthrough is reviewed and translated into queued changes that land on the live URL within 24 hours for most items, and within 48 for larger requests. The loop is asynchronous on your end; the turnaround on ours stays inside that window.
Built for full ownership
Every project ships in a clean repository on stacks your team can pick up: Nuxt, Supabase, Vercel, Inngest. No black-box framework, no proprietary plugins, no continued operational dependence on Monument Labs after handoff. The code remains fully yours after the engagement ends.
Why these prices
Fixed prices on Pilot and MVP because the scope is fixed. Studio is custom because the scope genuinely isn't.
Pilot at $7,500 is priced as a low-friction first engagement. The number reflects two weeks of focused work plus a clear deliverable. If we end up working together longer, you've already seen how the cycle runs.
MVP at $20,000 covers the shape of work where most projects land: enough to get a real product in front of real users. Auth, core flows, deployed, stable. If your project genuinely needs more, it's a Studio.
Studio is custom because ad spend, retainer length, and what hand-off looks like all vary. Quoting a single floor would mislead. Tell me where you're headed and I'll quote the shape.
What's not included
Ongoing maintenance after a Studio engagement ends is its own retainer, not bundled. Hosting, third-party services (Resend, Supabase, Vercel, OpenAI, ad spend), and domain costs are pass-through to you. I'll set them up; you own the accounts.
